Generous single bowl with square internal corners - a good match for wide sink runs and a coved upstand behind.

Worktops & surfaces
Seamless solid surface tops with integrated sinks, coved upstands and gently curved shapes - templated and fitted by our own team across Scotland.
Corian is an acrylic solid surface - mineral filler bound in resin - which means it can be bonded, shaped and sanded like a solid material rather than simply cut like a slab. It suits long uninterrupted runs, sociable islands and anyone who wants a softer, quieter finish than stone.
Sheets are bonded and sanded back so long runs, returns and island tops read as one continuous surface with no visible join line.
Sinks, drainer grooves and upstands can be formed in the same material, so there is no rim or silicone line for dirt to collect in.
Corian can be gently heated and shaped, which makes curved island fronts, radius corners and coved upstands possible.
The solid surface is non-porous throughout, so it does not need sealing and wipes down easily around sinks and prep areas.
Scratches and scuffs can be sanded out on site and the surface brought back to its original finish - a real advantage in a busy family kitchen.
A softer, quieter look and feel than stone or ceramic, in solid colours as well as subtle veined and particulate patterns.
Corian offers one of the widest palettes in surfacing - solid classics, soft veined marble looks, terrazzo, concrete and travertine patterns, plus deep darks. A selection is shown below; we can order samples of any colour for you.

Because a Corian bowl is bonded into the worktop rather than dropped on top of it, there is no rim or silicone line at all. Choose a prefabricated Corian Elements bowl or have one made to your own dimensions, with drainer grooves and a coved upstand formed in the same sheet.

Generous single bowl with square internal corners - a good match for wide sink runs and a coved upstand behind.

Softly radiused bowl that suits smaller runs and utility rooms while keeping the seamless Corian look.

Deeper bowl for family kitchens, bonded flush into the worktop so there is no rim to clean around.

Gently curved bowl with a smooth transition into the top - ideal alongside a formed drainer groove.
Corian is NSF/ANSI 51 certified for food contact and non-porous, so it resists stains and the growth of mould, mildew and bacteria with normal cleaning.
Care is straightforward - warm soapy water day to day, a cream cleaner for stubborn marks, and trivets under hot pans.
It is different rather than better. Quartz and ceramic are harder and more heat resistant, so they suit heavy-duty use and stone-look schemes. Corian wins on seamless runs, integrated sinks, curved shapes and the fact that damage can be sanded out rather than replaced.
No - always use a trivet or heat pad. Like most solid surfaces, prolonged direct heat can mark it, though marks can usually be polished out.
As an indicative guide, Corian sits between a good laminate and premium quartz for a typical kitchen. Cost depends on colour group, run lengths, edge build-up and whether you specify an integrated sink, so we price each kitchen from your plans.
Yes. Worktops are templated after the cabinetry is installed and fitted by our own team, so the same person looks after your project from design through to completion.
Send us your plans or rough dimensions and we will price a Corian specification for your kitchen, including sink and splashback options.
