Construction
IP 4820 sits at the top of the Impuls programme. The front is built on a 19 mm carrier and finished in the premium surfaces - deep matt anti fingerprint lacquer and glass style fronts - where the surface is applied and cured to a very flat, closed finish with almost no orange peel when you sight along it under a window.
The anti fingerprint surfaces work by having a very fine, closed microstructure, so skin oils sit on top and wipe away rather than sinking in and shadowing. It is the finish we recommend for dark colours on tall units and island ends, which is exactly where standard matt doors show every handprint.
IP 4820 is designed for handleless installation. The grip rail or recess is machined and finished as part of the front, which is why it is not offered as a handled range - the clean uninterrupted face is the point of it.
Best suited to: Architectural, minimal kitchens - dark handleless islands, tall run walls and open plan rooms where the kitchen has to disappear into the joinery.
