Serving the Scottish Borders since 1983
We work throughout the Scottish Borders, from Peebles across to Kelso and down to Jedburgh. Plans can be quoted remotely, then confirmed with a survey visit.
Whether you want a showroom appointment in Edinburgh or a free quote from plans you already have, give us a few details and we will come back to you within one working day.
Homes in the Scottish Borders get the same two choices as everyone else we work with: Impuls German kitchens for precision-engineered, built-to-order cabinetry, or our own bespoke handmade kitchens, hand-built in the Edinburgh joinery where we began in 1983.
We also design, supply and fit the worktops, sinks, taps and appliances, and handle the carpentry, electrics, plastering and building work. One team is responsible for the whole job, with one point of contact from first drawing to final handover.
Borders projects are covered by our own installation team, with delivery scheduled so the whole fit runs in one continuous visit. Typical lead time from order is 5-6 weeks, and every installation carries our 5-year guarantee.
Peebles, Melrose, Galashiels, Kelso, Selkirk, Jedburgh, Hawick, Innerleithen, Duns, Eyemouth and everywhere between. If you are outside this list we almost certainly still cover you - we design and install across all of mainland scotland.
We work throughout the Scottish Borders, from Peebles and Innerleithen across to Melrose, Kelso and Duns, and down to Hawick and Jedburgh. Most Borders projects start remotely: send an architect's plan, a floor plan or measurements and photographs, and we design and quote before anyone makes the journey. A survey visit then confirms everything before an order is placed.
Peebles and the Tweed valley are an easy run from Edinburgh, and the far Borders towns are comfortably inside a day. We do not add a travel charge, and installation is carried out by our own joiners as one continuous visit rather than in fits and starts.
Borders housing stock is dominated by farmhouses, steadings and stone townhouses. Thick walls, uneven floors, deep reveals and rooms that change height are normal, and they are the reason so much Borders work goes to our handmade line: cabinetry built to the millimetre, in-frame or lay-on, hand-painted in any colour, and scribed to the room.
Rural houses also need the supporting rooms. Larders that stay cool, boot rooms that cope with mud and dogs, a utility that can take a second oven and a big sink, and enough dry storage to make weekly shops practical. We design those together with the kitchen so the finishes match.
Rural delivery is where kitchen projects tend to unravel. Single-track approaches, farm tracks, low bridges, gates and yards that turn to mud all get checked at survey, and delivery is timed to the fit so cabinetry is not sitting in a barn for a fortnight.
Where a property is off mains drainage or has an older supply, we plan services accordingly - our own electricians and plumbers work with us continuously rather than being found locally per job.
Send your measurements, plans or just a rough idea. We reply within one working day.
A free CAD design and 3D visuals, refined in the showroom or remotely, whichever suits.
We survey the room before anything is ordered, so the quote you sign is the price you pay.
